Brownies

4- 1 oz. sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 & 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt (or less)
1 cup chopped walnuts
Heat oven to 350*. Grease 13 x 9 OR 15 x 10 x 1 pan.
Melt chocolate and margarine together over low heat. Beat into chocolate mixture the sugar, then eggs, one at a time. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and stir into chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts. Bake 25-30 minutes or until toothpick tests done, but Do not overbake. When cool dust with powdered sugar or frost with frosting.
Frosting:
2 to 3 cups powdered sugar
1/3 to 1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) margarine
dash salt
Add a little milk or evaporated milk to make of spreading consistency.
