Cappuccino Cheesecake Brownie Bars
(Makes 24 to 36 bars) Prep time: 30 minutes.

1 teaspoon instant cappuccino or regular instant coffee granules
1 (21.5 or 23.7 ounce) package fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (14 ounce) can Eagle Brand Creamy Chocolate Sweetened Condensed Milk, (not evaporated milk)
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon each ground cinnamon and vanilla extract
chocolate ready-to-spread frosting, optional


Preheat oven 350°. Dissolve coffee granules in water in brownie package directions; mix brownies as package directs. Stir in nuts. Spread in lightly greased 13 x 9-inch baking pan.

Bake 20 minutes or until set

Meanwhile, beat cheese until fluffy. Beat in remaining ingredients except frosting. Spread over brownie layer.

Bake 25 minutes or until set; cool. Top with frosting if desired. Chill. Cut into bars. Store covered in refrigerator.
