Chocolate Chip and Sour Cream Brownies

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups packed light brown sugar
1 egg
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
1 cup (6 oz.) semisweet chocolate chips
Powdered sugar
Preheat to 350. Butter a 9 x 13 pan.
Cream butter and brown sugar together until well blended. Add egg, sour cream and vanilla, mixing until light. Add cocoa, baking soda, and salt, beat until smooth. Blend in flour and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread in prepared pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until center springs back when touched lightly. Cool in pan on wire rack. Sift powdered sugar over top.
Makes about 30 brownies.
