Fry's Fudgey Brownies

1-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter
1 cup Fry's cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13" pan with baking paper.

In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking powder and salt. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa. Blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients and nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread out evenly with a spatula.

Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool in pan. Remove from pan to cut into squares as you serve.
Keep covered with foil.

These are so good that you don't even need to frost them. Just a light sprinkle of icing sugar, just before serving will be great.
