Hershey Syrup Brownies
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can Hershey syrup
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup chopped nuts

FROSTING:
1 stick (1/2 c.) butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup milk
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract


Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beat well. Add chocolate syrup. Sift dry ingredients together and add beating well. Add vanilla and nut meats.

Bake in a greased 9x13" pan at 350: for 50 minutes or until done. Cool.

Frosting: Mix butter, sugar and milk; boil 3 minutes. Make sure the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and vanilla. Stir until spreading consistency.

1/2 cup butter or margarine -- softened
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups chocolate syrup
4 eggs
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Heat oven to 350 F. Grease 13x9x2-inch baking pan.

In large bowl, beat butter and sugar. Add syrup, eggs and flour. Beat well. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
