Killer Brownies
12 oz. Semi-Choc. Chips
2 Tablespoons butter
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup butter, melted
2 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup coconut ( optional )
Melt first 3 ingredients. Stir sugar into melted butter and add to chocolate mixture. Beat in eggs and add remaining ingredients. Bake in greased 9x13 pan at 350 for 45 min or until golden.
These are great plain. I do individual servings with a small layer of carmel sauce, topped with Vanilla ice cream and home made hot fudge. (Sweet Joseph)
Hot fudge:
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup evaporated milk
4 tsp butter or oleo
Pinch of salt
Stir constantly; bring to boil for about 1 minute. Add 1 tsp vanilla and serve warm.
