Snicker Bar Brownies

1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled or 6 Tbsp baking cocoa and 2 Tbsp oil
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
4 to 6 "fun size" Snickers® bars, chopped coarsely
1/2 to 2/3 cup chocolate chips (for optional "frosting")

Preheat oven to 325 and grease an 8" square glass pan (if using a metal pan, grease pan and preheat oven to 350).

In a saucepan, melt unsweetened chocolate or margarine with cocoa powder and oil. Remove pan from heat when melted. Stir in sugar and vanilla, then stir in eggs, one at a time, until well combined. Add flour, optional nuts and chopped Snickers bars and stir until well combined.

Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes. (No testing for doneness is required.) Remove immediately from oven.

Pour chips evenly over top of brownies for optional "frosting." After five minutes, spread melting/melted chips over brownies to make frosting. Cut into bars. Cool completely in pan. Refrigerate.

Can leave brownies in pan and serve from pan, or remove to container and store in fridge until ready to serve.
