DEVIL DOGS
6 Tbs. shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup milk
1tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking soda
5 Tbs. cocoa
1 tsp. salt
**Drop by rounded teaspoon on greased pan and bake 425 degrees for 7 to 9 minutes.
Filling
1 cup milk
4 Tbs. flour
**Mix until thick over medium hear. Cool.
1 cup shortening
4 Tbs. butter
1 cup sugar
**Beat until fluffy and add cooked mixture and 1 tsp.
vanilla.
