Doubletree Hotel's Chocolate Chip Cookies

1-1/2 c. butter or margarine, unsalted
1-1/2 c. white sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
3/4 c. rolled oats
2-1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon juice
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. semisweer chocolate chips
1-1/2 c. chopped walnuts

1. Cream butter in large bowl. Add both sugars and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add eggs one at a time,beating well after each addition. Add lemon juice and vanilla; mix well.

2. In separate bowl, stir together dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture and stir well to blend. Add chips and nuts;
stir to combine.

3. Drop by 1/4 cup or 2 oz. scoop on parchment-lined baking sheets, 2-3 inches apart. Bake at 350 degrees for 13-15 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. Cool; remove from paper and cool completely on wire racks.

Makes 3 doz. large cookies.
