1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 c. persimmon pulp (with 1 tsp. soda dissolved into the pulp)
1 egg
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. raisins (or chopped dates)
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream together sugar and butter. Add persimmon pulp (with soda dissolved into pulp). Add egg, nuts, raisins, flour,
salt, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake for 15 minutes at 375 degrees.
Yield: 4 dozen
