Raisin Cookies:
1 cup unsalted butter softened
4 cups powdered sugar
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbs. cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon salt
2 cups raisins
1. Heat oven to 350 F. Butter cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
2. In large bowl, beat butter until light and fluffy. Add powdered sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt; mix until dough
forms. Stir in raisins. Roll dough into balls, using 1 teaspoon dough for each; place on cookie sheet.
3. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until light golden brown around edges. (Surface of cookies will be light) Immediately
remove form cookie sheets to cool. Hide. Makes 8 dozen tea cookies
