Salted Peanut Cookies

2 eggs
2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
1 1/2 cups melted butter or regular margarine
1 1/2 cups chopped salted peanuts
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups rolled oats
1 cup corn flakes

Beat eggs; add sugar and mix well. Stir in butter, then peanuts and mix.

Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt. Combine with rolled oats and corn flakes. Combine with egg mixture and stir well to mix.

Drop by tablespoonsful about 2" apart onto greased baking sheet. Bake in hot oven (400 degrees F) 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.

Recipe Note: You can drop the dough from a teaspoon for dainty tea- or coffee-time treats, instead of the family-size cookies.
