Turtle Brownie Cookies

1/2 cup flour
1 pkg rich and moist fudge brownie mix
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup oil
1 egg
2 cups pecan halves, split lengthwise

Icing
22 vanilla carmels unwrapped
1 to 2 tablespoons of water
2 tsp powdered sugar

Heat oven to 350. Grease cookie sheets. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In large bowl, combine flour, brownie mix, water, oil and egg and blend well. Drop dough 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets. Arrange 5 pecan pieces under each to resemble head and legs of turtle.

Bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until top of cookies appear to be almost set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets. Cool 2 minutes or until completely cooled.

Meanwhile in a small saucepan, combine carmels and 1 Tablespoon water; cook and stir over low heat until melted
and smooth, adding enough water to drizzle consistency. Stir in powdered sugar until smooth. Spoon over cookies and let stand until icing is set.
