CHERRY COOKIE from Faith
1 cup butter or margarine (I like butter)
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
2 cups flour
25 maraschino cherries - cut in halves
Stir together all ingredients, except cherries. Then knead thoroughly until mass is soft and pliable. Roll into small balls and place on greased pan and pat out. Press 1/2 maraschino cherry on each and bake until golden brown. 350 degree oven - 10 minutes.
