Crinkles
3/4 cups butter, melted
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 6- oz. Bag semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup confectioner's sugar
In a medium bowl, mix the melted butter, cocoa powder and sugar; beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients. Slowly add in the wet ingredients (I had a cool kitchen and the melted butter went stiff, so I had to add 2 tbsps cream to make the dough pliable.) Refrigerate 2 hours or overnight.
Heat oven to 350 °F (175 °C), Form the dough into 1-inch balls and roll in the powdered sugar. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 12 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
