Raggedy Robins
1 cup granulated sugar
2 Tblsp. cocoa
4 Tblsp. margarine (1/2 stick)
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 cup peanut butter
1-1/2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup milk
Measure sugar, cocoa, margarine and milk into a saucepan and bring to a rolling boil; stir. Boil 1 minute, then remove from heat. Quickly stir in vanilla, peanut butter and rolled oats. Working very fast, drop mixture by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined cookie sheet. Cool 10 minutes (you may refrigerate).
Makes 10-12 large cookies.
