Rolled Cinnamon Crisps

Cinnamon Crisps (submitted by Becky)

1 c sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/3 c butter (one third cup)
2/3 c sugar (two thirds cup)
3 tbsp milk

Preheat the oven to 350.

Sift the flour, baking powder and cinnamon together then set aside.

Cream the butter until it is softened, then gradually add the sugar. Cream it together until fluffy.

Alternately add the dry ingredients with the milk, making four dry ingredient additions and three milk additions, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.

Mix until well blended after each addition.

Using a small almount of dough at a time, roll the dough to about a 1/8th (one-eighth) inch thickness on a well floured surface.

Cut dough into 2 inch squares. Place on greased cookie sheets and bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
