Animal Crackers
1/2 stick butter (I didn't use Crisco & they did not spread)
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup honey
3 T. milk
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup all purpose flour
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
1 t. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350. Grease or Pam your cookie sheet. Cream butter & sugar. Mix in egg, honey & milk. In another bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt & cinnamon. Gradually add to butter mixture. (I chilled it about 30 minutes).
Knead the dough gently & roll on a floured surface 1/4" thick. Cut with cookie cutter & bake 15 - 20 minutes.
