Keeflees

6 cups sifted flour
1 lb butter
2 egg yolks
1 egg
6 oz. evaporated milk
1 pkg. yeast


Preheat oven to 350° F. and spray cookie sheet with PamŽ

Mix yeast with flour. Work butter into flour like pie dough. Add remaining ingredients and work with hands until it pulls together. Form into balls about walnut size and chill. Roll out very thin in powdered sugar, shape of a small circle.

Place approximately 1 teaspoon at edge and roll. Crimp edges. Should resemble a crescent shape. Bake until lightly browned. Let cookies rest a moment and remove from cookie sheet. Sprinkle with more powdered sugar.


Filling:

1 lb. walnuts, finely ground
4 Tbl. melted butter
1 cup brown sugar
4 Tbl. evaporated milk
1 Tbl. honey
4 Tbl. flour
1 tsp cinnamon
