Yummy Sugar Cookies
4 c sugar
2 c shortening
4 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
pinch salt
2 tsp. vanilla
8 c flour
2 c sour milk (1 Tbl vinegar to each cup of milk and let stand 5 minutes)
You need to refrigerate this for a few hours or overnight to kind of let the flavors blend. This is a very sticky dough.
You can roll it out and cut it with cookie cutters of i have had luck with also just making it into a drop cookie.
