Dessert Crescents

3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups nuts
1/2 cup shredded coconut
1/3 cup chocolate chips or any other flavored chips
1 cup white sugar
1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
8 ounces cream cheese
1 cup butter
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar for decoration
1 teaspoon vanilla or other flavoring extract
3 eggs
Optional: cinnamon or any other desired ingredients.

Mix together in a bowl the flour, eggs, butter, and cream cheese. Mix the ingredients together until the cookie dough is well blended. Put the cookie dough in the refrigerator and chill until the cookie dough is firm.

To make the cookie filling, finely grind the walnuts by the necessary method. Combine mashed walnuts with evaporated milk, sugar, vanilla or other flavoring extract, flavored chips, coconut and sugar. (Add in other optional desired ingredients.) Boil until the cookie-filling mixture becomes thick. Simmer the cookie-filling mixture on low heat.

Cut and roll out small pieces of cookie dough in confectioner's sugar. Place small amount of the cooked filling on each cookie dough piece. Now roll up each piece and shape and mold into a crescent shape.

Bake on greased baking sheets for about 20 minutes in a 350 degrees F./(180 degrees C) oven or until done. Makes 3 dozen cookies or 18 servings.
