Party Cheese Cups

Shells:
1 1/2 cups flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 egg slightly beaten

Filling:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup light cream
1 egg
1 tablespoon orange or lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated orange or lemon rind
Cherries


Preheat oven to 325.

Sift flour, sugar and salt; cut in margarine until mixture is like coarse crumbs. Blend in egg, knead into ball. Press into bottom and up sides of 1 3/4 inch muffin cups.

Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and flour, mixing until well blended. Add egg and mix well. Stir in cream, orange juice and rind. Place 1 tablespoon of filling in pastry lined cups.

Bake for 20 minutes. Cool 5 minutes. Remove from pans. Decorate with candied cherries if desired.
