Beef: Pot Roast and Mushroom Gravy

Pot Roast and Mushroom Gravy

1 Chuck Roast or other cut of beef
1 envelope onion soup or other dry soup mix (mushroom, etc.)
2 (10 3/4 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can water


Salt, pepper and garlic powder meat. Brown on top of stove in a little bit of olive oil. Put mushroom soups and water in crock pot and blend together. Add browned beef. Cook on low heat for several hours.
