Mock Devon Cream
1 (3 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup whipping cream, (not whipped)
1/4 tsp. vanilla
Powdered sugar to taste
Beat softened cream cheese. Slowly add the whipping cream. Add vanilla and powdered sugar to taste.
Chill.
Devon Cream
3 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
1/2 cup whipping cream, not whipped
Beat the first three ingredients together. Whip whipping cream, then add to beaten ingredients. Chill.
Devon Cream
3 oz cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp. sugar
dash of salt
1 cup whipping cream, not whipped, divided
Combine the cream cheese, sugar, salt and 2 tbsp. of the whipping cream. Beat well. Whip the remaining whipping cream, then add to cream cheese mixture. Chill.
