Candied Orange Pineapple Cream
1 (10 oz.) pkg candied orange slices
2 (8 oz) cans crushed pineapple in juice
2/3 c. light corn syrup
1 c. whipping cream
1 1/2 c. half and half
Cut candy orange slices into 1/4 inch cubes, making about 1 1/3 c. In saucepan combine them with pineapples with juice and syrup. Heat and stir til nearly melted, about 2 minutes.
Pour into large bowl, allowing to cool to room temperature. Stir in creams, and pour into ice cream cannister. Mix as per machine directions. Makes 2 quarts.
