2 ounces bittersweet chocolate
1 recipe Old Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream
Chop chocolate into small pieces. Cook custard mixture for Old Fashioned Vanilla Ice Cream to 180 degrees. Whisk in chocolate until melted. Strain through a sieve and proceed with remainder of vanilla ice cream recipe.
