Chocolate Velvet Ice Cream
2/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
3 egg yolks
2-2/3 cups cream
1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate
Combine sugar and cocoa. Beat in egg yolks. Gradually beat in cream.
Chill and freeze according to instructions that came with your ice cream maker.
Grate semi-sweet chocolate and stir into ice cream.
For a triple chocolate treat, splash each serving with creme de cacao.
Makes 1 quart.
