Banana Cream Dessert

1-1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1-1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. chilled whipped cream
3 medium bananas
3 c. milk
2 pkg. (3 oz.) instant banana cream pudding
1 c. sweetened whipped cream
sliced bananas or maraschino cherries for garnish


Mix butter, flour, and pecans thoroughly. Press evenly into greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

In small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until well blended. Fold in 1 cup whipped cream. Spread carefully and evenly over crust. Chill about 15 minutes. Slice bananas over cream layer.

In small bowl, beat milk and pudding mix at lowest speed until well blended, about 2 minutes. Spread over bananas. Spread sweetened whipped cream over top. Garnish with bananas or cherries.
