Apple Crumble

1 qt. peeled sliced apples
3/4 cup light brow sugar
few shakes of cinnamon
1/4cup water
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 cup dark brow sugar
1 tsp. salt


Put apples in buttered 10x6 baking dish. Add the 3/4 cup light brown sugar, water and cinnamon.

Blend the flour, half cup dark brown sugar,and salt, with the butter to make a crumbly mixture. Spread this crumbly mixture evenly over the apple. Bake at 350 for about 50 minutes.
