Rhubarb and Apple Crisp
2 cups rhubarb, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
2 large, tart apples (Granny Smith)
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon flour
Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup quick cooking oats
1/2 cup cold butter
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Mix first 4 ingredients together in an 8-inch baking Dish.
Blend all topping ingredients except nuts until crumbly. Stir in nuts. Sprinkle over top of fruit mixture. Bake at 350' for 50 or until fruit is done and top is crisp and brown.
Serves about 6.
