Chocolate Nut Crunch

l Whole Pkg Graham crackers (put in plastic bag and roll to make crumbs)
1 Cup Ground Nuts
1/2 Cup Butter (melted)
1/4 Cup Sugar
1 cup Butter
2 cups Sugar
6 egg yolks
1 t vanilla
6 egg whites
3 squares of unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/2 Gallon Vanilla Ice Cream


Combine first 4 ingredients and line 13x9 pan with 1/2 of the mixture. Bake at 400 for 5 minutes.

Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolks, chocolate, vanilla. Mix well. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.

Spread 1/2 of mix over crumbs. Chill.

Add the softened vanilla ice cream. Add other 1/2 of chocolate mix and top with other crumbs.

Cover with foil and store in freezer. Serve directly from freezer and must be stored in refrigerator.
