Frozen White Chocolate Cherry Terrine

This frozen dessert is studded with coconut candy bars, cherries, and white chocolate. Freeze the candy bars for a couple of hours. it makes them easier to chop.
1/3 cup milk
6 (1-ounce) squares white baking chocolate, chopped
2 (10 ounce) jars maraschino cherries, chopped
3 (1.9 ounce) chocolate-coated coconut candy bars, frozen
2 1/4 cups whipping cream
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans, toasted
Hot fudge topping
Garnish: maraschino cherries with stems
Grease a 9 X 5 inch loaf pan lightly: line it with plastic wrap, and allow the plastic to extend slightly over edge of pan. Set aside.
Microwave milk in a 2-cup glass bowl on High 1 minute. Add chocolate, stirring until chocolate melts. Let cool completely.
Press chopped cherries between paper towels to remove excess juice. Chop frozen candy bars.
Beat whipping cream at high speed with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until blended. Gently fold in melted chocolate mixture, cherries, chopped candy bars, and pecans.
Spoon mixture into prepared pan, pulling excess plastic wrap over the top. Cover with more plastic wrap and freeze 8 hours.
Invert pan onto a serving plate; remove plastic wrap, and slice terrine into 3/4 inch slices.
Drizzle dessert plates with hot fudge topping; top with slice of terrine Garnish with maraschino cherries.
