Oreo Cookie Dessert
1 (15 oz) pkg. Oreo cookies, crushed
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 gal. ice cream (vanilla, chocolate chip, mint, butter pecan, coffee etc.)
1 cup Hersheys syrup or hot fudge
8 oz. Cool Whip
Set aside one cup of the cookies. Then mix the rest of the cookies and the butter. Put in a 9X13 inch pan.
Spread 1/2 gallon ice cream over or take ice cream out of container and cut into pieces to fit pan. (May be easier)
Spread syrup on top of ice cream. Top with Cool Whip, then rest of crumbs. Cover and freeze. Can be made 1 to 3 days in advance.
