Strawberries Romanoff
4 cups sliced strawberries
1/2 sugar
1 cup whipping cream
3 Tablespoons orange liqueur
1 pint vanilla ice cream -- softened
6 strawberries
Sprinkle sliced strawberries with sugar. Whip cream until stiff peaks form. Stir in liqueur if desired. Fold cream into ice cream. Spoon sliced strawberries into 6 balloon wine glasses. Top with ice cream mixture.
Garnish each with strawberry and serve immediately.
