Graham Cracker Delight

30 graham crackers
1/2 pound margarine (or butter)
1 cup sugar
2 eggs beaten
1 cup drained crushed pineapple --(Save juices)
6 ounce pkg. orange Jello
about 1 cup (or less) chopped walnuts
Whipped Cream


Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with crackers. (don't worry if they don't quite meet, for they swell slightly)

Cream margarine (or butter) and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Fold in pineapple and nuts.
Spread over crackers. Top with remaining crackers. Refrigerate.

Mix gelatin in the usual way using pineapple juice as part of the cold water. Chill until syrupey. Then pour over other ingredients in dish. Refrigerate. Serve with whip cream.

Serves 12 generously.
