1 pkg. of chocolate sandwich cookies(16 oz) crushed
6 tbsp butter melted
1 and 1/2 cups boiling water
1 pkg.(8 serving size) or 2 pkg. (4 serving size) orange flavor gelatin
1 cup cold orange juice
ice cubes
1 tub of whipped topping, thawed
Mix 3 cups of the crumbs and butter in a 13 by 9 inch dish until crumbs are moistned. Press firmly onto bottom
of dish. Refrigeate till ready to use.
Stir boiling water into gelatin, in large bowl, at least 2 minutes or till completely dissolved. Mix orange juice and ice to make 2 cups. Add to gelatin, stirring till slightly thickned. Remove any unmelted ice.
Stir in 2 cups of the whipped topping and whisk till smooth. Spoon into crust. Refrigerate 4 hrs or untill firm . Before serving sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs and decorate with halloween type candy and more whipped topping. serves 16
