USA Jell-O Mold Recipes

4th of July Mold

3 3/4 cups boiling water
1 pkg. (8-serving size) or 2 pkg. (4-serving size) any red flavor Jell-O
1 pkg. (8-serving size) or 2 pkg. (4-serving size) Berry Blue flavor Jell-O
2 cups cold water
1 pkg. (4-serving size) lemon Jell-O
1 pint vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt, softened


Spray USA mold with no stick cooking spray. Stir 1 1/2 cups boiling water into red and blue gelatin in separate bowls stir least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir one cup cold water into each bowl.

Pour red gelatin into prepared mold. Refrigerate 1 hour or until set but not firm. Reserve blue gelatin at room temperature.

Stir 3/4 cup boiling water into lemon gelatin in bowl. Stir in ice cream with wire whisk until melted and smooth. Spoon over red gelatin in mold. Refrigerate 30 minutes longer until set but not firm.

Refrigerate blue gelatin 30 minutes or until slightly thickened. Spoon blue gelatin over lemon gelatin in mold. Refrigerate 4 hours until firm. Unmold. Serves 16.


Cherry Yogurt USA Mold

3 cups boiling water
2 pkg. (8-serving size) or 4 pkg. (4-serving size) cherry Jell-O
3 cups cold water
2 containers (8 oz. each) Breyers black cherry lowfat yogurt


Spray USA mold with no stick cooking spray. Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1 1/4 hours or until slightly thickened.

Stir in yogurt with a wire whisk. Spoon into prepared mold. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight until firm Unmold. Serves 16.


USA Mold

3 cups boiling water
2 pkg. (8-serving size) or 4 pkg. (4-serving size) any flavor Jell-O
4 cups cold water


Spray USA mold with no stick cooking spray. Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Pour into prepared mold. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight until firm. Unmold. Serves 16.

To be able to cut apart the states: Prepare recipe as above using 4 cups of boiling water and 3 pkg. (8-serving size) or 6 pkg. (4 serving size) any flavor Jell-o. (Do not use cold water.) Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Unmold. Cut apart states with small knife.


Fruited USA Mold

2 pints strawberries
3 cups boiling water
2 pkg.(8-serving size) or 4 pkg.(4-serving size) any red flavor Jell-O
3 cups cold water
1 cup thawed Cool Whip
1/4 cup blueberries


Spray USA mold with no stick cooking spray. Slice 1 pint of strwberries; set aside. Halve remaining strawberries; set aside.

Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Refrigerate 1 1/2 hours or until thickened. Stir in sliced strawberries. Spoon into prepared mold. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight until firm. Unmold.

Spread whipped topping over mold. Place strawberry halves and blueberries on whipped topping to create a flag design. In the photo, they have 4 rows of five blueberries over Washington, Oregon, Idaho and a generous third of Montana with three rows of strawberry halves over the remaining exposed states.
