Egg Nog Holiday Dessert
2 c. commercial egg nog
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. diced candied mixed fruit
2 Tbsp. rum or rum flavoring
yellow or white cake
Combine egg nog and cornstarch in medium mixing bowl; mix well. Microwave on Roast for 4 minutes; beat until smooth.
Stir in fruit and rum; continue cooking on Roast for 3 to 4 minutes. Spoon over cake.
Makes about 2 1/4 cups.
Tip: Sauce thickens on standing. Microwave on Reheat to warm and soften.
