Chocolate Delight
Crust:
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 stick butter
1 c. chopped pecans
Mix and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan; bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool completely.
Layer 1:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 container Cool Whip (large)
Mix and spread over crust.
Layer 2:
1 small pkg. instant chocolate pudding
1 small pkg. instant vanilla pudding
3 c. milk
Mix together and beat with electric mixer until thick. Spread over Layer 1.
Layer 3: Spread other half of large Cool Whip over
Layer 2. Grate chocolate or chopped pecans over top.
Variations for Banana Delight:
1 c. powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
1 small Cool Whip
Combine cream cheese and powdered sugar, beating until fluffy. Stir in Cool Whip. Spread over crust and sprinkle with coconut. Place vanilla wafers on top of coconut.
Third Layer:
2 pkg. (3 oz. each) instant vanilla pudding
3 c. cold milk
Fourth layer:
1 small Cool Whip
1 c. pecans
Combine pudding mix and milk. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Spread over vanilla wafers and top with bananas. Fourth Layer: Cover with 1 small Cool Whip. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.
