Chocolate Crackle Sundae Sauce
2 tbsp (30ml) butter
1/2 cup (125ml) chopped pecans (optional)
4 squares Baker's semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
Melt butter over low heat.
Add chopped pecans (if using); cook, stirring constantly until leght golden brown.
Remove from heat; add chocolate, and stir until melted and smooth.
Serve warm over ice cream. Sauce hardens when it touches ice cream.
Makes: 4 servings. Prep Time: 10 minutes
Tip: Sauce may be made in advance and reheated on top of the stove or in a microwave oven on medium
power until warm.
