Citrus Sorbet
"Ice Cream, Sherberts and Sorbets" by Mabel Hoffman

2/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1 cup water
2 teaspoons grated tangerine peel
4 cups tangerine juice
1/4 cup lemon juice

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water and tangerine peel. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Stir in tangerine juice and lemon juice. Cool to room temperature. Pour into ice-cream canister. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
