Cran-Cherry Sorbet
use fresh cherries, when available otherwise use
2 (16 oz) cans drained, pitted cherries and only 1/2 cup sugar
4 cups fresh, ripe sweet dark cherries, pitted
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
2 cups cranberry juice
In blender or food processor fitted with metal blade, puree cherries, sugar and corn syrup. Add cranberry juice and process 3 to 5 seconds. Freeze.
