Pomegranate Sorbet
1 1/2 cups water
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup light corn syrup
3 fresh medium pomegranates
2 Tbls. lemon juice
Im small saucepan combine water, sugar and corn syrup. Stir over med. heat until sugar dissolves; set aside. Cool to
room temp.
Cut pomegranates in half crosswise. Press and turn on a reamer to remove juice. Reserve juice; discard
pulp, seeds and peel. You need about 1 cup pomegrante juice. Stir pomegranate juice and lemon juice into the cooled
syrup. Freeze. Makes 1 quart
