Take as many berries as you want. Pour in enough water to come to top of berries. Mash berries good with hands.
Let stand until begins to sour and foam. Take and strain through a cloth sack and to each gallon of juice add 1 quart of water and 3 lbs. sugar. Let stand 9 days or until it quits foaming.
Skim every morning until no skim comes on juice. When quits foaming cover well and don't touch for 6 weeks. Then bottle.
