Bahama Mama
2 oz. Mt. Gay Rum
1 oz. Nassau Royale or (sub.) Cueranta E Tres 43
Pour over ice and mix with equal parts Orange Juice and Pineapple Juice, a
dash of Angustora Bitters, and a dash of Grenadine.
Stir and garnish with fresh fruit. Yield: 1 drink
Yellowbird
2 oz. Mt. Gay Rum
1 oz. Kahluha
Pour over crushed ice and fill with orange juice. Shake well and garnish with fresh fruit. Yield: 1 drink
Daisy's Pina Colada
2 oz. Coconut Rum
1 oz. Guavaberry Island Folk Liqueur
1 oz. Cointreau
Pour into a shaker glass and add a dash of lime juice and 1 oz. Pineapple Juice.
Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish with a wedge of orange and a cherry. Yield: 1 drink
Rum Lime Punch from Bobby Flay
1/2 cup simple syrup
1 cup dark rum
3/4 cup fresh lime juice
5 tablespoons grenadine
1/4 teaspoon bitters
Pinch of ground nutmeg
Ice cubes
Lime slices
Combine equal amounts of sugar and water, bring to a boil and cook until sugar is dissolved.
Mix all punch ingredients together.
Serve over ice, garnish with lime slice.
Traditional Rum Punch
1/4 cup (60 ml) fresh lime juice
1/2 cup (125 ml) sugar dissolved in 1/2 cup (125 ml) water
3/4 cup (190 ml) rum (dark or light) of your choice
1 cup (250 ml) water
Angostura bitters
Fresh nutmeg
Mix first four ingredients together in a mixing glass or small bowl and chill.
Serve in a tumbler or over ice with a dash of Angostura bitters and a grating of nutmeg.
