Snix's Hot Buttered Rum Batter
1 pound butter
l pound brown sugar
l pound sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 quart high quality vanilla ice cream ( melted in the microwave before adding it, it was easier to blend together)
Blend all together.
Place batter in large container and keep in freezer.
To serve: place one heaping tablespoon of batter in a mug. Add 1/2 ounce or more of rum, or a little rum
flavoring to taste for a non-alcoholic drink. Fill mug with boiling water. You may have to reheat drink to make it hot enough. Serve with nutmeg.
