Low-Cal Lemonade

1/4 cup sugar
low-cal sugar substitute to equal 3/4 cup sugar
1 cup lemon juice
4 cups cold water


Combine all ingredients. Stir to dissolve sugars. Serve over ice. Makes 4 cups



Lemonade Syrup Base

1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup boiling water
grated zest of 1 lemon
1-1/2 cups fresh lemon juice


Dissolve sugar in boiling water; add zest, lemon juice. Refrigerate in covered container.

For one glass: add 3/4 cup cold water to 1/4 to 1/3 cup syrup; serve over ice.

For 8 glasses: add 5 cups cold water to the whole recipe of syrup base.



Hot Lemonade By The Mug

1/4 cup lemonade syrup base
3/4 cup boiling water
1 cinnamon stick


Preheat a mug with hot tap water. Stir together syrup base and boiling water. Serve with cinnamon stick swizzle.
