Brew Ha-Ha Punch (Halloween)

2 cups sugar
2 quarts water
2 (13 oz.) pkg. lime drink mix
46 ounces pineapple juice
1 quart ginger ale
Stir together sugar and 2 quarts water until sugar is dissolved. Stir in remaining ingredients. Chill.
Yield: 4 quarts
NOTE: For a scary Halloween presentation, place punch bowl in a larger bowl and add dry ice to the larger bowl.
