Wonderful Iced Tea

5 family-size tea bags
2 cups boiling water
2 cups sugar
3 quarts cold water
1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla extract
1 1/2 tablespoons almond extract
1 (6oz) can thawed frozen limeade concentrate
1 (6oz) can thawed lemonade concentrate
fresh mint and lime slices for garnish
Put tea bags in a large pitcher, and add boiling water. Set aside to steep.
In a saucepan, combine sugar and cold water. Boil until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Remove tea bags from pitcher.
Add sugar water. Add vanilla and almond, and limeade and lemonade concentrates; refrigerate 4 hrs or overnight.
Serve over ice in 10 oz wine glasses; garnish with mint leaves and lime slices if desired. Makes 4-5 qts
