Dry Cod ala Portuguese
6 big potatoes
400 grams of cod
Soak the cod and leave the cod in water the day before you cook it.
Boil the peeled potatoes for about 10 minutes and then add the cod. Let boil for another 10 minutes. Remove potatoes and the cod from the water and chill.
Cut and fry the onions in one deciliter of oil or margarine, with a laurel leaf. Add the potatoes and fry until they get golden brown. Add the cod, cut into square pieces. Fry everything until a dark golden color is acquired. Before serving, decorate with the eggs cut in slices and olives.
